Handling classes September 4, 11, and 18
We invite any dog fancier - particularly those in Anne Arundel County - to join KCAA. You do not have to own or show dogs, but if you are interested in any dog sport we have members who can assist and guide you. Our membership types and dues structure are shown on the second page of the form.
When applying for membership, you will need two members within KCAA to sponsor you. For that reason, we strongly encourage potential members to attend an event such as a show, a handling class (no charge for observers), or even a Fit Dog walk (again, no charge to participate). All events through the end of June are shown on the Event Calendar on this site, and they are kept updated.
Once we have your application with your first years' dues, it will be read at two separate meetings for the benefit of the KCAA membership. This process usually takes about two months, but in the meantime potential members begin receiving email communications from KCAA.
KCAA is, at its heart, a social organization and an organization to serve the dog fancy in Anne Arundel County. We would encourage and accept all applications for membership. When applying. please consider the following: (1) If you are outside of Anne Arundel County (or adjacent counties), if you don't plan on being active in KCAA, please consider the less expensive Associate membership. (2) Members are expected to volunteer at least once per calendar year (or otherwise contribute toward the goals of KCAA).
Thank you for your interest in KCAA!
Below is the most recent version of our membership application. Please download it, fill it out, and send it back to us.
