KCAA is happy to announce that handling classes will begin
Tat Tecla's K-9 Academy on Wednesday October 7

As with everything else these days, there will be changes. Please read
This list IN FULL so you are aware of the changes. These are Tecla’s
requirements and KCAA will follow them.

1) All individuals must wear a mask at all times while in the building.

2) Each individual entering the building must have temperature taken by Dan or one of the instructors

3) ONE handler per dog (no visitors or spectators, sorry)

4) All instructors and handlers must sign the Tecla K9 COVID Release at each class.

5) A Sanitizing station will be available at the front entrance.

6) Individuals will use Client Only bathroom

7) Individuals who have been exposed to COVID 19 or are experiencing COVID symptoms will not be allowed to attend.

8) Someone will be in the front lobby taking temps, collecting money, and
giving you the paperwork to fill out. All this must be done before you
can go into the handling area.

9) We will do social distancing in class. This is being done at shows
and handlers/dogs need to get used to it. Even if you don't plan to
show your dog, this is an excellent way to get it adjusted to people
wearing face masks.

10) As the classes will start promptly at 7:30, please give yourself
enough time to go through the entrance procedures and get your
dog ready for class before 7:30.

These rules will be enforced.

There will be a maximum of 10 students/class. There will issue a "sign-in
sheet" for the first class on Wednesday, September 30. Students at the
class will have the option of being the first to sign up for the next week’s class.
