Crab fest extravaganza and picnic.
A short membership meeting will follow the picnic

Saturday July 13, Beginning at 1:00pm
Downs Park, Arcadia Pavillion
When you enter the park please state you
are with the KCAA club so that you will not
be charged for parking as the club has
already paid this fee.

MENU: Crabs and more crabs plus we are asking our members to bring a dish
or an item such as suggested (but not limited to) below:

Newspapers or large brown sheets of paper to lay crabs on;
Heavy duty trash bags
Paper Towels, Paper Plates, Plastic Utensils
Charcoal & Lighter Fluid for the Grill
Meat item other than crabs ie, fried chicken, sandwiches, etc.
Salads ie potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, etc.
Desserts and Fruit items

While everyone is asked to bring a side item, guests are most welcome.
Due to the higher costs of crabs this year, guests will be charged $15 to attend
but members will still be free. And, of course, feel free to bring your four legged
furry family members (on a leash) to enjoy the festivities.
RSVP to this club email site.
This is a must so that we know how many crabs to order (we wouldn't want to run short).

Please note: There is no electric at the pavilion and there are no generators
allowed in the park. We will have the use of a grill at our pavilion for anything
that needs to be kept hot or needs to be grilled.
Be sure you have good batteries for any fans or radios you plan to bring.

Our next meeting of KCAA's members was to be
Saturday May 4th, 1:00 to 3:00pm
The Greene Turtle
2383 Brandermill Blvd.
Gambrills, Maryland
(Waugh Chapel shopping center)

There will also be a meeting on September 7th. Same time, same place.

From May, classes are BACK TO TUESDAY evenings, on the first, second and third tuesday of each month

(for May that is 7th, 14th and 21st)

Jo Ann Charnik (President) and Tom Masog

The Kennel Club of Anne Arundel is pleased to announce that on December 29, 2018, at our holiday party and annual meeting, Tom Masog, Corresponding Secretary of KCAA was awarded the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award.

Tom is an integral member of this club. He attends and works at every event held by the club in addition to teaching our handling classes. Tom is also instrumental in ensuring all show applications are properly submitted which includes our two all breed point shows, our FAST CAT events (Tom also acted as show chair for FAST CAT) and our RDO events.

Tom epitomizes outstanding sportsmanship both in and out of the ring and at all club functions. The Kennel Club of Anne Arundel wishes to congratulate Tom Masog on this very deserving award.
