May 15, 2022 Sunshine Mills, Inc. of Red Bay, Alabama These brands are produced by Sunshine Mills and may or may not be included in this warning: Evolve, Nurture Farms, Triumph, Veterinary Select, Paula Deen Home Cookin’, Meaty Treats, Sportsman’s Pride, Hunter’s Special, Pup Corn Plus, Pet Life, Crunchin’ Bones, Dr. Dental Fresh Chews The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a Warning Letter to Sunshine Mills, Inc., of Red Bay, Alabama due to significant safety violations.
April 19, 2022 Pet Center, Inc. of Los Angeles, California Required to take prompt action to correct any violations. FDA has issued a warning letter due to multiple safety and sanitary violations which caused the products to be declared adulterated. The company produces over 100 different pet treats including Bully Sticks, Chicken Breast Tenders, various flavors of SuperChews and more.
March 28, 2022 Bravo Packing of Carney's Point, New Jersey Stop selling, manufacturing and distributing its pet food products A Federal judge has ordered Bravo to stop selling, manufacturing and distributing its pet food products due to "grossly insanitary conditions".
February 18, 2022 Family Dollar, Inc Recalling multiple national brands of dog food, cat food and treats health hazards associated with rodent infestations and may also include the risk of Salmonella bacteria.
February 16, 2022 Massachusetts Department of Public Health Dog Gone Dog Treats Massachusetts Department of Public Health is reporting three cases of infections with Salmonella bacteria
December 23, 2021 Woody's Pet Food Deli of Minneapolis, Minnesota Recalling its Raw Cornish Hen pet food Risk of Salmonella bacteria.
December 11, 2021 Costco.ca Recalling Irish Rover 2021 Advent Calendar for Dogs (which contains dog treats). The retailer has not provided a reason for taking this action, stating only that "these calendars do not meet our quality standards".
December 01, 2021 Livia Global, Inc., of Visalia, CA Recalling two lots of its BioLifePet Liquid Probiotics for Dogs and Cats Possibility of contamination with Pseudomonas bacteria. If ingested, Pseudomonas can cause life-threatening infections in immuno-compromised individuals.

August 09, 2021 Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc FDA formal warning about 12 pet food brands and sub-brands. Inspections of manufacturing plants revealed serious violations. The FDA claims conditions at the firm’s facilities likely contributed to the illness or death of hundreds of dogs and cats. This is a list of brands and sub-brands known to be manufactured by Midwestern Pet Foods: CanineX, Earthborn Holistic, Meridian, Nunn Better, Pro Pac, Pro Pac Ultimates, Splash, Sportmix, Sportmix Wholesomes, Sportstrail, Unrefined, Venture.

January 26, 2021 Midwestern Pet Food Updated its recall of multiple brands of dog and cat foods As of Jan 21, FDA is aware of more than 100 deaths and 210 illnesses in pets. The recall includes more than 1000 lots.
January 11, 2021 Midwestern Pet Food Expanding its recall to include more brands and over 1000 lots of its dog and cat foods They contain potentially deadly levels of aflatoxin. FDA is aware of at least 70 deaths and 80 illnesses in dogs who ate the affected products.
